Buyers
Buying a new home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in your life time. Therefore, you can be sure that my objective is to look out for your best interest during the entire transaction. We will properly negotiate on your behalf, analyze and handle all paperwork, present all financing options, keep you updated on all new properties that hit the market including FSBO’s. As your Buyer’s agent we will be glad to do property searches for you and tour homes with you, without pressuring you into a quick sale.
Tips for buying:
- Know what you want before you start out. Make a list of wants and needs and what you can live without and the things you can’t
- Get a pre-approval letter from your lender ahead of time so you are ready when you do find the right home.
- Always have an inspection even when you plan on not asking for anything. Its a great way to learn about your home.
- If you do ask for repairs, make sure you don’t ask for too much but enough that you would feel comfortable accepting the answer. Rule of thumb, if you ask for everything you may get nothing.
- Between the inspection and closing there is a quiet time for Escrow, lenders and title companies to do their job. Your job is making sure your home owners insurance is ready to go and start to prepare for packing.
